Timothy C. Mullin is a Principal of Universal Settlements and currently serves in the capacity of Regional Vice President. A native Washingtonian, Tim, attended Gonzaga College High School and The University of Maryland in College Park. Tim earned his Real Estate license while in college and has worked as a Realtor, Property Manager and New Homes Sales Consultant. Tim has been with Universal Settlements since 1992 and currently manages the West Region for the company. Tim received the designation of Certified Land Title Professional (CLTP) From the Maryland Land Title Association. He has been a lecturer for the MLTA and The Maryland Center for Real Estate Advancement. Tim has served on the Board of Directors for the Catholic Business Network and is a past president of that organization. He is currently involved in Special Olympics and is a member of the executive committee of the Shepherd Foundation. Tim lives in Kensington, MD with his wife and four children. |

| Bob graduated from the University of Maryland at College Park, where he received a degree in Criminal Justice in 1966. He then went to work at the Juvenile Court for Montgomery County in Rockville. While attending law school at the University of Maryland School of Law at night, he became the supervisor of all Juvenile Services for Montgomery County. After being admitted to the Bar in 1972, he became a partner in the law firm of Gordon & Haslinger in Silver Spring and Gaithersburg, Maryland, where he had a very general practice, representing clients before all local and Federal courts in Maryland and the District of Columbia. Since 1985 Bob has limited his practice to residential and commercial real estate matters exclusively. He has also served as an arbitrator of construction industry claims for the American Arbitration Association. He has represented home builders, lending institutions, and individual clients, and is a licensed title insurance agent in Maryland and the District of Columbia. Bob is a member of the Bar Associations of Montgomery County, the State of Maryland, and the District of Columbia. Bob is a Settlement Attorney with Universal Settlements in our Rockville location. |

Jim is an Executive Vice President of Universal Settlements.
He received his law degree from The Catholic University in 1975
and is a member of the Montgomery County, Maryland, District of
Columbia and American Bar Associations. Following completion of
law school, Jim served as the law clerk to the Honorable Joseph M.
Mathias, Judge of the Sixth Judicial Circuit of Maryland from 1975 to 1976.
Jim's area of specialty include not only residential real esttate transactions,
but also with commercial closings, builder and lender representation, and
extensive work with national residential relocation companies.
Jim heads the Builder and Commercial division of Universal Settlements. Universal Settlements has provided settlement services to many of the premier homebuilders in the Washington Metropolitan area. Jim is a former Adjunct Professor at Montgomery College, has lectured extensively on legal/real property issues, and has authored a number of articles in builder and real estate publications. He and his wife have five children. He is active in youth sports programs, the Catholic Youth Organization, school fundraising, and is a former member of the Board of Trustees of St. John's Episcopal School |

Brenda comes to Universal Settlements from First American Title Insurance Corporation, Direct Residential Operations where prior to transferring to her current position she was the Branch Manager of the Cape Coral, Florida operation. Brenda brings with her over 17 years title industry experience and progressive responsibility in past assignments to Universal Settlements. She began her career in the Midwest working for a privately owned First American Title agency. Her background includes service in the agency division with an array of experience in title research, examination, closing, sales and branch management along with education in real estate law and title principles. In addition to her experience with First American Title Direct Operations, she also held responsibility with First American Title National Commercial Services Division from 2003 -2005, her expertise includes all facets of commercial transactions, 1031-exchanges, Trust, as well as new construction development projects. While with NCS she successfully maintained national level accounts for specific commercial clients in the division. She has held title insurance license in the State of Indiana, completed Land America Title Institute Course I & II and has completed numerous advanced education course work for state license crediting. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her large family. Attending her children's various school functions and local activities, and encouraging her children in all their endeavors. She enjoyed volunteering for many community organizations where she has resided and embraces her new community in Rockville. |

Lauren Buchheister is the Director of Business Development for Universal Settlements, and serves as the Business Development Representative for all Rockville, North Bethesda and Potomac Real Estate Agents. Lauren joined the Universal Settlements team in February 2003, after working for a local government contractor helping to build the Department of Education website. Lauren is a graduate of University of Maryland with a Bachelor's of Science in Health Education. In her free time, Lauren teaches Jazzercise in the College Park area and enjoys traveling anywhere in the world. Most recently, her travels have taken her to Chicago, Montreal and South Korea. |

Melissa Buchheister is the Lender and Mortgage Broker Business Development Representative and is a University of Maryland graduate. She worked in the corporate marketing department of a large real estate company before joining Universal Settlements in her current role in August of 2004. In addition to her work in Business Development, Melissa is a licensed settlement officer to better serve your needs. Her goal is to ensure that our clients experience a smooth settlement process from the time we receive the order until the case is closed. In her free time, Melissa enjoys playing the violin in the Prince George's Philharmonic and teaching Jazzercise. |

| Mark received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of California at Davis and his law degree from George Washington University Law School. He is a member of the Maryland, District of Columbia, Prince George's County and Montgomery County Bar Associations. Mark has been practicing law for over 24 years and has been specializing in real estate law for the past 20 years. During those years, Mark has represented builders, banks, mortgage lenders, federal credit unions, municipalities, state agencies, relocation companies and individual and corporate purchasers and sellers. He is a licensed title insurance agent for Maryland, the District of Columbia and Virginia. |
